“22nd Thursday rather fine weather but dry I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick.
“23rd Friday A fine hot dry day I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick Baly came after his wife & they went to Batavia towards night.
“24th Saturday A fine warm day with some showers in middle & after part of the day I did my choars choared round some closed up at about 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick with a lame side, Emma Anesworth came down with Fairbanks & took her trunk back with her J P Garys little girl not one year old died this morning at __.
“25th Sunday A fine pleasant hot day I did my choars choared round some and went to bed about 9 nearly sick with a cold & lame side J P Garys child was buried this afternoon at Wheaton the funeral was in the Methodist Church here at 2-3/4 oclock PM A Methodist minister from the Junction preached.
“26th Monday fine weather for the season but dry I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick verrry hurt.
“27th Tuesday fine dry weather I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold & lame side.
“28th Wednesday A warm & fine rain I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & a lame side.”
