“15th Wednesday rather a fine day but cool I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick [in margin] G S Warne went to Chicago today to go to work with his team Clark in the city, French went to Chicago with Warner.
“16th Thursday rather a fine day but cool I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick [in margin] Roderick Smith went to Chicago today to team it in the city.
“17th Friday A fine pleasant day for Nov I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 tiard & nearly sick.
“18th Saturday A fine day but cloudy & looked like rain & began to rain about 9 oclock in the evening I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed a little before 10 nearly sick etc [in margin] Emma Stone went to prayer meeting.
“19th Sunday A cool rainey disagreeable day & night I did my choars choared round some was round the house all day went to bed about 9 nearly sick & tiard Nelson Stone came here & Emma went to meeting.
“20th Monday rather fine weather for winter I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 nearly sick [in margin] Abner Stone sone born today in Iowa.
“21st Tuesday pretty fine for Nov but cool & dry I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 9 nearly sick.”
