“23rd Wednesday rather for March I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“24th Thursday fine cloudy weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“25th Friday rather a fine cloudy day & rained in the evening I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out Caroline George & I cleaned out the store chamber.
“26th Saturday rather a rainey day & night I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“27th Sunday A cloudy damp disagreeable day & cloudy & muddy I did my choars was at the house the most of the day went to the office for Kenyon after breckfust & back then choared round & fixed the howel some went to the office in evening came back & went to bed about 9 tiard & nearly sick George Barrus was here Emma & Mary Tart here.
“28th Monday cool cloudy nasty weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at about 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & tiard.
“29th Tuesday a cool cloudy muddy bad weather I did my choars was at the office all day & moved down to the store & stayed at store all night for the first time we put up 2 beds & we went to bed about 10 olcock in evening sick & worne out.”
