“17th Thursday fine winter weather & muddy I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“18th Friday A fine cool day & a freezing I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick etc A donation at Methodist church & got 40 dollars.
“19th Saturday A cold squalley day I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out.
“20th Sunday A cold but rather pleasant day I did my choars was round home all day a choaring round went to office in evening came home & went to bed about 4 nearly sick, 4 of my chicking carried off by Olin Resseguie as it appears here after he owned that he took my chickins out of my stable tonight.
“21st Monday rather fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & tiard out Olin Resseguie & Nelson Stone took 4 of my chickings stolen & carried them to Frank Hammond & sold them.
“22nd Tuesday rather fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“23rd Wednesday fine weather for Feb. I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.”
