“25th Thursday A fine forenoon & began to rain at noon & was a wet afternoon & evening, I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick Jerry Dady, Dennis Connel & James Tart cut wood at the door in forenoon.
“26th Friday sprinkled in morning & fine afternoon I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out Jerry Dady & Dennis Connel cut wood at the door in afternoon.
“27th Saturday A fine day but muddy I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick, Jerry Dady & Dennis Connel cut wood all day at door, Jessee Wheaton called to see about Revanue Sisence Emma Pollard & Resseguie girls were here.
“28th Sunday A cloudy damp day & sprinkled a little & hailed a little in forenoon, I did my choars & choared round the house some was at the office in evening came home & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out.
“29th Monday rather fine but cool & backward I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“30th Tuesday fine for March but backward I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out.
“31st Wednesday fine cool weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.”
