“7th Wednesday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.
“8th Thursday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism etc.
“9th Friday fine day & more cool I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism etc.
“10th Saturday A fine day but cool & began to sprinkle at sunset was a rainey night I did my choars was round the office the most of the day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with rheumatism I went to Alvah Fowlers about 10 oclock to see Barrus about taking care of Carry I talked plain to him & he got mad at me & was agoing to whip me stuck his fist in my face & cut my lip on my tooth with his fist old Goos commenced to lay today.
“11th Sunday A cold rainey morning & day quite muddy I did my choars was round home all day choaring round some etc went to bed about 9 nearly sick with rheumatism etc.
“12th Monday fine weather but cool I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.
“13th Tuesday a damp misty day & snowed about 10 inches during the night & mostly melted I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick.”
