“25th Wednesday fine winter weather with pretty good sleighing I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“26th Thursday fine winter weather & pretty good sleighing I did my choars was choars was at the house & office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism Thanksgiving Bell Wallace & a Mr Shot Charles were married today at Naperville.
“27th Friday fine winter weather for the season I did my choars was at home all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism snowed some.
“28th Saturday snowed some but was a pretty fine day I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick Emma Barrus came here.
“29th Sunday Snowed & blowed in morning & forenoon cleared off about 11 & was a beautiful afternoon I did my choars was round home the most of the day went up to the other place & back went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold Emma Barrus was here Fred Mannings wife had a daughter born today.
“30th Monday fine weather the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.
“December 1st Tuesday fine weather for Dec I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism.”
