Hiram E. Leonard Diary, June 12 - 18, 1873

12th Thursday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick  Emma Stone came up in the stage tonight.

13th Friday  hot growing weather  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold & rheumatism.

14th Saturday  A fine hot growing day  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at about 10 nearly sick.

15th Sunday  A fine hot growing day  I did my choars went up to the place & bushed some peas etc came back wrote some & choared some etc went to bed between 9 & 10 tiard & nearly sick with rheumatism & cold  Caroline & Emma Stone went to Baptist meeting in forenoon & Methodist in afternoon.

16th Monday  fine growing weather but a getting rather  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick.

17th Tuesday  fine hot growing weather but rather dry  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 10 tiard & nearly sick  a large Ball at J D Perrys.

18th Wednesday  verry hot weather & dry  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 tiered & nearly sick with the rheumatism etc.”
