“20th Thursday pretty fine weather with a cool air I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick cold Caroline & Mrs Stone went to Garrys J P a minastry & got home about 8 ½.
“21st Friday A pretty fine day with a cool air I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick Caroline & Mrs Stone went to Jerry F Pollards a visitating to ________ got home _____.
“22nd Saturday fine March weather I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Caroline & Mrs Stone went to S Frenches a visating & got home about dusk & went to Resseguies the Railroad men came & staid in town.
“23rd Sunday A fine pleasant day with a cold March wind I did my choars went to the farm & put up some fence etc wrote some & choared some folks went to meeting Railroad folks stayed here over Sunday at Warrens, Doct & Mannings Mary Tart went to Godfreys in cars to work this summer.
“24th Monday A cloudy morning began to mist before noon some rain hail & snow snowed some through the night I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick the railroad men surveyed from East Branch to Garys crabapple grove this side of Hericks Jerry Dady sawed wood for me Railroad meeting tonight.
“25th Tuesday snowed a most all day & night slowly I did my choars choared round some & closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick with a cold the Rail Road men run the road to Williams door yard today and quit for the storm.
“26th Wednesday A snowey morning had fell over one foot of snow not verry cold stoped snowing in forenoon I did my choars choared round closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick with a cold the Rail Road men mostly went home today.”
