“22nd Wednesday rather fine weather I did my choars was a choaring round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“23rd Thursday rather fine weather for the season but more cold I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“24th Friday rather fine weather for March & many are a sewing grain I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring & closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out.
“25th Saturday fine weather for March & roads a getting quite good, and farmers are busy a sewing their grain I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring round closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick Mr Barrus drawed a load from Winfield & paid him for hawling it.
“26th Sunday A cloudy damp misty morning & day I did my choars was round the house all day achoaring & writing etc went to Barruses after supper came back & went to bed at about 9 nearly sick & worne out Several called here today all day.
“27th Monday A fine day for March but cool I did my choars was round the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick & tiered out Jerry Dady & D Connell commenced sawing my wood today.
“28th Tuesday fine cool weather the roads getting quite good I did my choars was at office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 about sick & worne out.”
