“8th Wednesday fine winter weather & snowed dureing the night about 6 or 8 inches deep I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick.
“9th Thursday pretty fine after morning pretty good weather & sleighing I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“10th Friday fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out.
“11th Saturday winter weather & a plenty of snow I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 7 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“12th Sunday A cloudy day & snowed some all day fine winter weather with a plenty of snows I did my choars was round the house all day fixed the stove pipe etc, I went to bed about at 9 nearly sick & worne out.
“13th Monday fine winter weather I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out [in margin] Resseguie went to Chicago.
“14th Tuesday fine winter weather good sleighing I did my choaring & was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.”
