“4th Wednesday fine winter weather I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“5th Thursday fine weather for winter I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick had the dum ague all day & was sick night Frank was here & tended store.
“6th Friday a pretty fine day for winter I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9, was sick from haveing the ague yesterday.
“7th Saturday snowed the most of the I did my choars was round the store all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ about sick [in margin] Emma Stone came here about supper time.
“8th Sunday a pretty fine day for winter I did my choars was round home all day and went to bed about 9 nearly sick.
“9th Monday fine weather for Jan I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring round the house & store closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“10th Tuesday fine weather for winter I did my choars was round the office & house all day a choaring closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & tierd.”
