“25th Wednesday fine winter weather & good sleighing I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick.
“26th Thursday fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick Frank Wellman went to Chicago to stay a few days.
“27th Friday fine winter weather & good sleighing I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“28th Saturday A fine day for winter I did my choars choared round the office closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick, the quarterly meeting commenced this afternoon Anesworth called to Kenyons to supper.
“29th Sunday A cloudy day but not cold I did my choars was round the house all day, went to Barus in afternoon came back & went to bed at 9 sick [in margin] quarterly meeting today.
“30th Monday rather fine winter weather I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out.”
“31st Tuesday fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out.”
