“14th Wednesday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day choared round closed up at 8 went to bed at 9. Caroline started for home.
“15th Thursday fine weather for December I did my choars was at the office a choaring round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 tiard & nearly sick [in margin] Caroline came home from Iowa today in afternoon Barrus went to the station at one & met her there.
“16th Friday fine weather for winter some cloudy I did my choars was at the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“17th Saturday fine day but some cloudy I did my choars was round the office choaring all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
“18th Sunday fine weather for winter some cloudy I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 tiard & nearly sick.
“19th Monday Snowed conciderable all day and made quit decent sleighing I did my choars was round the office & house all day a choaring & closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick Emma Anesworth went to D Kenyons to work about 2 or 3 oclock & got his supper came back & went up & stayed all night, Caroline went up when she got supper [in margin] Emma Anesworth left here went to Dan Kenyons.
“20th Tuesday A cool day snowed & blowed some I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.”
