“6th Thursday pretty cool winter weather no sleighing I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.
“7th Friday A pretty cool winter day good waggoning I did my choars was at the office all day came home 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc.
“8th Saturday A cold windy winter day I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“9th Sunday A cold cloudy windy winter day I did my choars was at the house the most of the day went to office about noon & in evening at home a choaring the rest of the day went to bed about 7 nearly sick [in margin] David McNelly was married about this time.
“10th Monday fine weather for winter no sleighing I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & about worne out with trouble & fateague.
“11th Tuesday rained some & was thawey I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out with trouble.
“12th Wednesday rather a slopey wet day I did my choars was at the office all day came home & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.”
