“13th Thursday rather damp slopey dull weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ sick & worne out.
“14th Friday more cool & icy I did my choars was at the office all day came home about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ tiard, nearly sick & worne out with trouble.
“15th Saturday rather a fine day but icy I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“16th Sunday rather a warm thawey damp day I did my choars was at home the most of the day a choaring round went to Resseguie & got his buck & bring it over & put it with my yew went to office in evening came home & went to bed about 9 sick A thundershower lightning struck Stanley barn in night & burned.
“17th Monday rather fine cool winter weather a thunder storm last night, lightning struck Stanley barn & burned down two barns, a heavy shower I did my choars was at office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed 9 ½ sick.
“18th Tuesday fine weather for winter cold I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out.
“19th Wednesday fine cool weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.”
