“3rd Thursday fine day for June I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick, Ed Gary put the mair.
“4th Friday fine weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out with trouble etc [in margin] Procter came tonight from Winfield afoot.
“5th Saturday fine weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out with trouble.
“6th Sunday A cool day & some cloudy I did my choars was at the house the most of the day called at the office in morning & evening & went to bed about 9 tiard & about sick had choared all day Abner Elizar & Mrs Stone & Emmy were here.
“7th Monday rather fine weather but cool & wet I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out with trouble & with Sister.
“8th Tuesday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“9th Wednesday fine weather but cool & wet for June I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out with trouble [in margin] young cow to bull.”
