Hiram E. Leonard Diary, April 21 - 27, 1875

“21st Wednesday  A fine dry day  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

“22nd Thursday fine weather  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

“23rd Friday fine day & more cool  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism etc.

“24th Saturday fine weather but cool & wet  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.

“25th Sunday fine cool pleasant day & dry  I did my choars was round the house the most of the day.

“26th Monday rather fine cool weather for April  I did my choars was at the office twice came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick.

“27th Tuesday fine weather for April but cool & dry  I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a cold  My goos laid egg.”
