“24th Wednesday fine thawey weather & muddy I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism John Herricks wife had a pair of twin boys this morning.
“25th Thursday fine thawey muddy weather & the thunder shower tonight at about 2 or 3 oclock tomorrow morning I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism a thunder shower about 2 or 3 this morning Horace French came here today.
“26th Friday A fine thawey day for March I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 about sick with the rheumatism & a cold Horace French went home this morning took the stage this morning Danison was here & started back home in Iowa tonight.
“27th Saturday A cool morning but a fine day I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.
“28th Sunday A fine warm pleasant forenoon & cloudy afternoon I did my choars was at the house all wrote some red some & choared round some and went to bed about 9 nearly sick with rheumatism.
“29th Monday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.
“30th Tuesday fine March weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.”
