“10th Wednesday fine weather & thawed some I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 about sick with the rheumatism W Hix came here & started his bootcher shop.
“11th Thursday a fine day & thawed conciderable I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 about sick with the rheumatism Thawed quite fast.
“12th Friday a fine thawey day thawed fast water run in torents I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism etc Rogers etc drew wheat for Fredenhagen & Company.
“13th Saturday A fine day & thawed fast the water run in torrents through my back yard it spoilt the sleighing I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.
“14th Sunday A fine pleasant day & thawed fast I did my choars was at the house all day choared round some wrote some etc went up to my place for the first time this winter went to bed at 9 nearly sick with rheumatism.
“15th Monday fine cool winter weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism Court commence at Wheaton.
“16th Tuesday fine winter weather with conciderable snow on the ground I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism Jane Baly got a bill from her husband this afternoon & was married to Benjamin Paver within a half hour after by Erastus Gary Esqr.”
