13th Wednesday  Pretty fine growing weather for the season  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with rheumatism  I got a letter from Caroline tonight at 6 oclock & wrote one to send back tomorrow morning  Geroge & I cleaning store.

14th Thursday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with rheumatism etc  I sent a letter to Caroline at Lotts Creek Iowa with five dollars in it, registered  Mrs Stone was married today in Iowa.

15th Friday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day a choaring closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism, cold  Jonathan F Pollard turned his cow into my pasture this morning to paster  George & I were cleaning store.

16th Saturday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 tiard & nearly sick with the rheumatism  George & I scrubbed out the front part of the store & shut up at dark  Quarterly meeting at the Methodist Church this afternoon.

17th Sunday  A cloudy morning & had a shower toward night  A pleasant day & windy & grew cold was quite chilly towards night & windy  I went to the farm in the morning was round home all day choaring went to bed at about 9 with rheumatism  Quarterly meeting this forenoon.

18th Monday  pretty fine weather for May  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up about 8 and went to bed about 9 tiard & sick with the rheumatism.

19th Tuesday  rather fine weather but cold nights  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with the rheumatism.”
