“25th Wednesday cool raw weather mud a drying up some I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.
“26th Thursday cool raw weather ground frozen I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick Some have sewed a little wheat before this but few have done anything at it as yet folks went to meeting.
“27th Friday cold raw March weather & rained some this afternoon & evening I did my chaos was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Emma Stone went with old Perry Ed Mulnix & Eliza Berry to Croziers to a Ball and they had none & came back about 9 or 10.
“28th Saturday more pleasant but cool & raw weather I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9-3/4 nearly sick Caroline Emma Stone & Walla went to prayer meeting to Sherwins & got home between 9 & 10.
“29th Sunday more pleasant but a cool air I did my choars was round home all day writing some went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Caroline see Emma Anesworth or Walker to meeting today.
“30th Monday cold dry weather for March I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick with a cold Emma Stone started for Iowa this morning in stage.
“31st Tuesday A pretty fine day but cold & dry I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Mrs Emma Prosburg had a daughter born this morning at Jerry Pollard Dr Hatch was their.”
