“21st Wednesday A fine warm dry pleasant day smucky & foggy mornings I did my choars was round the office all day closed up about 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with the rheumatism & cold.
“22nd Thursday fine hot dry weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.
“23rd Friday Fine warm weather for the season I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with the rheumatism etc.
“24th Saturday Fine dry warm weather I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ feeling bad with the rheumatism & a cold.
“25th Sunday A most beautiful day with some clouds & verry warm & dry for the season I did my choars was round the house the most of the day was up to the farm & out to Garys fence went to A T Jones in afternoon & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.
“26th Monday fine cool dry weather I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with cold & the rheumatism Jerome Beardsley wife had a second son born this morning early.
“27th Tuesday fine cool pleasant weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold.”
