“15th Thursday fine cold weather no snow I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed after 10 nearly worn out [in margin] Meeting.
“16th Friday Cold rough weather & roads I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick [in margin] Meeting.
“17th Saturday A fine winter day & some cloudy I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 10 sick [in margin] Meeting.
“18th Sunday A squalley day rained in the morning hailed & snowed some dureing the day I did my choars was round home all day wrote some & red some etc went to bed about 10 nearly sick & tiered out Charlotte Mack died this afternoon at about 4 olcock She had endured a great deal of pain for a few days past [in margin] Meeting.
“19th Monday pretty fine winter weather I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick [in margin] Meetings.
“20th Tuesday good winter weather not cold I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick Charlotte Mack was buried today in the burying ground near Graveses Elder Manferd preached the funeral sermon com about 12 oclock.
“21st Wednesday A lowerery rained day I did my choars was round the office all day closed up about 9 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick [in margin] Meeting.”
