“14th Thursday fine dry weather I did my choars choared round the office some closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.
“15th Friday fine dry weather & hot I did my choars choared round the office some closed up about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick A light shower this evening York & Feldot were a thrashing at R Mannings today & yesterday.
“16th Saturday A fine morning with the ground some wet I did my choars choared round some at home closed up about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ sick William Carpenters wife had a daughter today about 11 oclock A M so _________ they could not thrash this forenoon.
“17th Sunday A fine cool morning & fine hot day I did my choars choared round some choared at farm some put up a leach down celler etc run off some lye & put into the soap Caroline & Emma went to both meetings.
“18th Monday A fine dry hot day I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ tierd & nearly sick thurmometer from 90 to 100.
“19th Tuesday A fine dry hot day I did my choars choared round some closed up about 9 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick & about worne out.
“20th Wednesday fine hot dry weather I did my choars choared round the office some closed up about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick & tired out.”
