“18th Thursday fine weather for the season I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Benjamin Paver took his child to his fathers for them to keep as his wife had left George Potter at Naperville was married this week.
“19th Friday A find day for December I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Paver went up to Wheaton on Spaders suit for stealing & they acquitted Spader, Spader come down tonight & the boys went for ________ & scart him.
“20th Saturday A fine cool winter day I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick some one had been in Pavers house & left if onlocked & he thought it was Spader after the boys scart him away A W Wright came today.
“21st Sunday A fine day for the season but cool I did my choars was at home all day a writing etc went to bed about 9 nearly sick with a cold Albert Wright came down the street with Perry about 3 ½ PM.
“22nd Monday fine winter weather I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & tiered out.
“23rd Tuesday fine winter weather but rough wagoning I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.
“24th Wednesday fine cool winter weather I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & tiered out Emma Stone came here today from McKellips Gus.”
