“20th Thursday fine weather for the season I did my choars choared round some was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.
“21st Friday rather a fine day but some cloudy I did my choars choared round the office some was round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick John Coon was buried this afternoon sermon by a Baptist minister from Aurora.
“22nd Saturday rather a fine warme day but some cloudy I did my choars choared round the office some was at the office all day closed up about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick & tiered out.
“23rd Sunday A cloudy rained snow squalley day & snowed fast a part of the afternoon & evening a stormy day I did my choars was round all day home wrote some folks went to meeting French called here & borrowed seventy five dollars & sent 30 of it to Abner to come home with.
“24th Monday rather a snowey day I did my choars choared round some was at office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.
“25th Tuesday fine winter weather I did my choars choared some all day cloased up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.
“26th Wednesday fine winter weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.”
