“21st Thursday A fine day for Nov I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Selenharke was buried today.

“24th Sunday A fine but cloudy day I did my choars choared round some up to the other place was round home some and went to bed between 8 & 9 nearly sick with a cold Thead Mannings second wife Lucy died today about one oclock in the afternoon She broak a blood vessel being confined She had a tumor in the womb.
“25th Monday rather fine weather for November I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick Emma Barrus commenced work at Garys.
“26th Tuesday pretty good winter weather and some snow I did my choars & choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 nearly sick with a cold.
“27th Wednesday A cold winter fine winter weather some snow I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick Theador Manning second wife was buried this afternoon Emma Stone came up here today with French.”
