“24th Wednesday fine cold winter weather I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 sick with a cold [in margin] Frank Gary was married today to a Miss Mariete, he lost his weddin cloths on the cars starting from Chicago.
“25th Thursday cold winter weather I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick with a cold.
“26th Friday cold winter weather I did my choars choared round all day cloased up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick with a cold [in margin] I killed my hog today it weighed 225#.
“27th Saturday A cold winter day I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 sick cold [in margin] Jane Balys child born up to H Rogers.
“28th Sunday A cold winter day & night I did my choars, salted my pork & choared round all the rest of the day & went to bed at 9 sick with a cold [in margin] Ann Eliza got poisoned with candy poisen or poison that was in the candy box.
“29th Monday fine winter weather & pretty cold I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 tiard & nearly sick with a cold.
“30th Tuesday A fine but cold as we have had this winter I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 tiard & sick with a cold.”
