“10th Wednesday rather a fine day I did my choars was round the office all day a choaring round cloased up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick etc.
“11th Thursday rather a fine day but some cloudy I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ sick Caroline was sick.
“12th Friday rather fine weather but some cloudy I did my choars was at the office all day cloased up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out it began to rain tonight & we had a fine rain.
“13th Saturday A fine rainey morning and forenoon has rained finely broak away in the afternoon & was quite fine in evening I did my choars was at the office all day choaring round cloased up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out Caroline was sick & George folk Mrs Dasenbrook received news that her pension was granted.
“14th Sunday A fine pleasant cool morning & fine day I did my choars eat breckfust choared round some wrote some, went up to the farm to Barruses about noon stayed to dinner & came home about ____ did my choars & went to bed at about 9 nearly sick.
“15th Monday rather a fine weather but dry & hot I did my choars was at the office choaring round all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out O D Chenys babe died today after being sick for a long time & undergoing everything most.
“16th Tuesday fine weather for the season but dry I did my choars was round the office all day a choaring round closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick Cheenys child buried.”
