“9th Thursday fine for winter I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne.
“10th Friday rather warm & rainey I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“11th Saturday damp misty weather nasty & muddy I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick H B Fowlers wife stiped down about 4 oclock PM & brock her wrist, had Daniels to set it.
“12 Sunday rather a cloudy damp day & muddy I did my choars fixed some fence & choared round the house all day bank the house some & went to the office in evening came home at 6 ¼ & went to bed at 9.
“13th Monday fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out with trouble.
“14th Tuesday fine for winter & thawey I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc [in margin] McCulie got killed in a stew tonight.
“15th Wednesday rather cloudy damp weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.”
