“16th Thursday some muddy I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick worne out.
“17th Friday rather cold & a freezing I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.
“18th Saturday cold frozen weather I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc [in margin] Mc Koluc was buried today.
“19th Sunday rather a cold raw cloudy day & evening moon shines rather fine I did my choars was at the house all day a choaring round etc went to the office in evening came back & went to bed about 9 nearly sick etc Sol Williams here & heared a rappings & said was Sister.
“20th Monday rather fine winter weather I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out.
“21st Tuesday fine weather but cool & some cloudy I did my choars was at the office all day & in the evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc.
“22nd Wednesday fine weather some snow on the ground I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc.”
